Eligible property

Subject to below exception, Eligible Products must be installed at a property classified as one of the following types of buildings:

• (a) residential single family homes including single family detached dwellings; duplex, triplex, row home or townhomes; or mobile homes that are fixed to a permanent foundation, and are structurally complete with installed and connected plumbing, heating, electrical, water and sewer services, and with towing apparatus and axle removed;

• (b) multi-unit residential building or strata common area, on a single meter;

• (c) commercial building; (each an “Eligible Property”). The following types of buildings or property are not eligible for the Rebate:

  • individually metered suites within multi-unit residential buildings such as strata, condominium, and apartment units,

  • garages, workshops, and outbuildings,

  • unheated, seasonal, or unoccupied buildings,

  • secondary suites or units within an Eligible Property (including suites with separate meters), e. any movable property.
